Times are changing for the younger generation when it comes to the challenges that they face and how they face them. Challenges for this generation stems from the fact that the American culture has shifted. The challenges do not care about their race, if they are rich or poor, or even the creed they follow. The culture has shifted from faith, family and friends to friends, friends, and family. Faith in this new cultural shift has become almost non-existent. This has made it harder for young kids and teenagers to fight off things that bring difficulty into their life. But there is always a solution to every problem, and for this problem, the Mike McCoy Ministries has the solution.
Mike McCoy Ministries goes around and speaks to students in assemblies who are in the age range of 9-18. In the assemblies, the Mike McCoy Ministries gives a faith-based message to an average of 110 students. The message gives the students hope and encouragement to overcome their challenges and deal with peer pressure. This allows the students to develop self-confidence to achieve a level of success that they envision. To make sure that the students do not fall back, ongoing care with the co-ordination of the school counselors will be established.
